Amidst the threat of inflation and global economic uncertainty, the government and the House of Representatives have set a high target for tax revenue in the draft 2023 state budget.

This year, Rp 699.43 trillion of the state expenditure totaling Rp 2.75 quadrillion was allocated for the PEN program, which is to be used for financing health, especially the national vaccination rollout.

As of Feb. 28, 2021, state revenue realization reached a total of Rp 219.2 trillion, an increase of 0.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
