Since Jokowi-Amin started ruling this country in October 2019, this is the second time the results of a Kompas R&D survey show a level of public satisfaction above 70 percent.

The appreciative respondents far outnumber those still dissatisfied with the government's performance. Seven out of 10 respondents who were asked for their assessment stated they were "satisfied" with the government's.

The public is satisfied with the performance of the administration of President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. However, some indicators still have room for improvement.

The government needs to make a breakthrough to improve performance in a number of aspects that are not considered optimal. The improvement of public appreciation functions as capital for a good legacy.

A national survey by Kompas shows that the level of public satisfaction with law enforcement has declined considerably. The most substantial drop is evident in the aspect of equal treatment by law enforcement officers.

Public satisfaction has declined with the Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin government. The government must optimally overcome a number of problems.

The government and pro-government supporters should not become overconfident from the high level of public satisfaction.

The increase in appreciation in general is indeed in line with public satisfaction in the government’s performances in various fields.
