Up to 23 members of the House of Representatives (DPR) for the 2014-2019 period are again competing in the 2019 legislative election, but through parties that are different from the ones they represented in the 2014 general election.

The state must allocate a budget of a minimum Rp 38.2 trillion for the General Elections Commission (KPU), Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) and the National Police in managing the 2019 general election.
