HR Quality Selection and Improvement Begins

JAKARTA, KOMPAS — The government and a number of companies have begun the selection and improvement round of the quality of Indonesian human resources to be more competitive. The actions being taken include, among others, simplifying bureaucracy and regulations through an omnibus law, vocational education, and strengthening micro, small and medium enterprises.
The Finance Ministry, for example, starting Friday (29/11/2019) cut 19 echelon III positions and 74 echelon IV positions within the Finance Ministry\'s Fiscal Policy Office. From this policy, there were 112 structural officials who were transferred to functional officials.
