Cisumdawu Toll Road Under Construction for ‘Mudik’ Travelers
The government said the Cisumdawu Toll Road would be temporarily operated only for this year's homecoming for the safety of travelers.

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing will repair road damage caused by landslides on the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan or Cisumdawu toll road in West Java. Repairs are targeted to be completed before operating during the 2023 Lebaran homecoming.
SUMEDANG, KOMPAS — The construction of the final section of the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan, or Cisumdawu, Toll Road has been accelerated in order to unravel traffic congestion during this year’s Idul Fitri holiday mudik (exodus). The toll road is expected to be functional during the day, starting on 15 April, 2023.
Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said sections 4 to 6 of the Cisumdawu Toll Road could be technically operated for mudik travelers starting on Sunday (16/4/2023). The problem of “moving” land, according to Basuki, would be resolved soon.
