The Marsiurupan community held a consolation service at one of the homes of its members who had an accident on Jalan Durung, Medan, North Sumatra, Monday (8/11/2021). The Union of Help (STM) has become a social glue in the midst of an increasingly urbanized Medan community.
The resilience of the residents of Medan City cannot be separated from the strength of its solidarity groups in the community, known locally as mutual assistance groups (STMs). Thousands of STMs have become the social glue of the city in the midst of a pluralistic, increasingly urban and modern society.
