Former Secretary of the Supreme Court, Nurhadi (right), follows a trial to read the verdict which was held virtually from the Corruption Court at the KPK\'s Red and White House, Jakarta, Wednesday (10/3/2021).

Two cases of judicial corruption are being heard in court. They involve Joko Sugiarto Tjandra and former Supreme Court secretary general Nurhadi.

Both cases, whose investigations were handled by three different institutions โ€“ the National Police, the Prosecutorโ€™s Office and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) โ€“ have resulted in public disappointment at the decisions of the panels of judges. The trials failed to uncover who was behind the return of graft convict Joko Tjandra.
