Electric scooters are parked at a Martabak shop on Jalan Syahdan, Kemanggisan, West Jakarta, Thursday (27/8/2020).

Delivery of food on electric scooters has been on the rise in recent months. The drivers range from undergraduates, students, to those who used to work as ojek (motorcycle taxi) drivers. The income from this business is quite good amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Food delivery services with electric scooters (Grabwheels) are provided by Grab Indonesia, especially for Grabfood. Drivers go to and fro in a number of locations, including on Jalan Rawa Belong and around Bina Nusantara University, West Jakarta. Almost every food store that accepts food orders is served by Grabwheels drivers.
