Uphold Sovereignty at Natuna EEZ, President Says
President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo ensures that Indonesia’s sovereignty at the North Natuna Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) will be maintained through law enforcement.

President Joko Widodo talked with Governor of Riau Islands Isdianto while observing the fishery monitoring vessel at the Center for Integrated Marine Fisheries (SKPT), Lampa Strait, Natuna, Riau Islands, on Wednesday (8/1/2020). In that occasion, President Joko Widodo stressed that the Natuna Islands were part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). In addition, the President also asked Natuna fishermen to optimize the infrastructure that had been built with quite expensive costs.
