President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo talks with East Java Governor Soekarwo on Friday (22/6/2018) after inaugurating the 20.5-kilometer Gempol-Pasuruan toll road section, which forms the easternmost segment of the Trans-Java toll road. The last part of the Gempol-Pasuruan toll road is expected to be completed by September. The economic growth points range from industrial estates and ports to tourism destinations. Thus, the toll road construction not only increases the mobility of people and goods, but also encourages economic growth.
