Mitigation Plan Must Follow Promotion

DENPASAR, KOMPAS – The promotion of tourism in Bali must be accompanied with a mitigation plan. It should not simply attract tourists to enjoy the island’s natural beauty, but also ensure security for them during their visit.

The emergency status of Mount Agung in Bali is an important lesson for other tourist areas. As of Monday, the widely spread fake news and lack of information have severely hurt tourism in Bali.
