Six More Days for Tax Amnesty

Taxpayers who took part in the Tax Amnesty Farewell party at Golden Tulip Hotel, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, on Wednesday, utilized the help desk service provided by South and Central Kalimantan Offices of the Taxation Directorate General. Ahead of the end of the tax amnesty, where the taxpayers are invited to utilize it, penalty payment from the program in South and Central Kalimantan is projected to reach Rp 900 billion.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS – Taxpayers have six more days to join the tax amnesty program. So far, the amount of declared assets and the penalty payment are large enough. However, the number of participants and the value of repatriated funds are relatively low compared to their potential.

In a text message to Kompas, after giving a public lecture at the Bandung Institute of Technology, Friday, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said the final tax amnesty period would end March 31. Thus, there is still a week\'s time for taxpayers to take advantage of it. Taxpayers are expected to take the opportunity.
