The President explained that every country was facing difficulties. Global economic growth had slowed while inflation was on the rise, and several developed countries were facing a food crisis.

The message was loud and clear, from the majority of G20 members in the first two paragraphs of the Chair's Summary, that the war in Ukraine has caused a slowdown in the global recovery.

Especially for Indonesia, there are additional determining factors, namely the effectiveness of the central-regional governments, as well as political and security stability ahead of the 2024 General Election.

As this year’s G20 president, Indonesia has planned to discuss the global economy and its risks, global health issues, financial architecture and sustainable finance during the FMCBG.

For the public, there are at least four important agendas that the government believes can be pushed.
