Relevance of Heroes\' Day
We commemorate Heroes\' Day regularly. Aside from commemorating the services of the heroes continuously, it is also important to find the meaning of today\'s heroes and its relevance.

Fighters try to block the Allied troops during a reconstruction of the 10 November 1945 battle in the Surabaya Fighting Parade to commemorate Heroes\' Day on Jl. Pahlawan, Surabaya, East Java, Saturday (9/11/2019). Around 3,000 people took part in the parade from the Heroes Monument to Bungkul Park. The parade was aimed at reminding the younger generation about values of heroism. The theatrical battle performance was held at various sites, including the Heroes Monument, Siola, the Bamboo Runcing Monument and Bungkul Park.

The award for heroes is considered important by the state so that it is regulated in Law No. 20/2009 concerning title, service marks and honors as a derivative of Article 15 of the 1945 Constitution.
