Ending Dualism, Arsjad and Anin Agree to Hold National Conference After Presidential Inauguration

Both agreed to hold a National Conference to determine the legitimate chairman of Kadin. The National Conference will be held after the inauguration of the president.

Meanwhile, Arsjad Rasjid (right) is still serving as the Chairman of Kadin for the 2021-2026 term according to the 2021 Kadin National Conference.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS — The General Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry or Kadin 2021-2026 Arsjad Rasjid and the General Chairperson of the Kadin version of the extraordinary national conference Anindya Bakrie agreed to hold a national conference to determine the legitimate chairperson after the presidential inauguration on October 20, 2024. This agreement was made at a meeting between Arsjad and Anindya mediated by the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party Bahlil Lahadalia at his residence, Jakarta, Friday (27/9/2024).

This was conveyed by Arsjad in a 3-minute 15-second video he sent to journalists on Monday night (30/9/2024). He explained that the meeting between him, Anindya, and Bahlil had been planned and communicated several days earlier. The meeting took place at Bahlil's private residence around 3:00 PM WIB.
