Knowledge of archeology is important to all parties and the group of disabled nature lovers is no exception. In their activities, they have frequently discovered archeological sites and protected cultural heritage.

A number of persons with disabilities from the Disabled Nature Lovers Group listen to explanations about cultural heritage objects at the Open Disability Cultural Destination event at the Mpu Purwa Museum, in Malang City, East Java, Saturday (20/5/2023).
“Were there also people with disabilities in antiquity?” asked M Hasanudin, 29, one of the disabled participants of the Open Disability Cultural Destination program, through a sign language interpreter at the Mpu Purwa Museum, Malang city, East Java, on Saturday afternoon (20/5/2023).
The hearing-impaired man working with the Regional Development Planning Agency (BPBD) of Malang regency was intrigued to ask. At first, along with a number of disabled peers, Hasanudin was attentively following the explanation of the guide about the collections of cultural heritage objects at the museum.
