Surveillance camera footage or CCTV has revealed the cause of death of Asiah Shinta Dewi (43) who was found under the elevator at Kualanamu Airport, Deli Serdang regency.

This was the news reported by Kompas.id on Saturday (29/4/2023). The victim appeared panicked on the CCTV footage as she noticed that the elevator door, which she had entered earlier, did not open. The victim did not notice the elevator door behind her that was open. She then appeared to force the door open and immediately stepped out without looking at the surroundings in front of her. The victim fell under the elevator cabin.

CCTV footage of the incident that killed Asiah has circulated on social media. According to the chief of Deli Serdang Police, Comr. Irsan Sinuhaji, the victim came to Kualanamu International Airport in North Sumatra to accompany her family members who were going abroad.
