Chasing the Hope of Healing

The Army Strategic Reserves Command (Kostrad) headquarters in Cilodong, Depok, West Java, was suddenly boisterous. Residents flocked to go there, hoping for healing from the treatment of Ida Dayak.

A banner containing information about Ida Dayak's treatment was canceled in front of the Shooting Range and Sports Complex, Kostrad Division 1 Corps Headquarters, Cilodong, Depok, West Java, Tuesday (4/4/2023).

Ida Dayak has gone viral. She is said to be able to cure many diseases: sprains, broken bones, stroke, the deaf and the mute. Thousands of people have seen videos of her on social media.

It is not surprising that her arrival in the Greater Jakarta area for healing practices attracted the attention of many people. Scheduled on Monday and Tuesday (3-4 April 2023), the first day of practice at the Kostrad Cilodong headquarters was crowded. Many residents even queued on wheelchairs. Perhaps because of that the second day of practice was eliminated.
