President Joko Widodo and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong held an informal meeting before holding a bilateral meeting, in Singapore, Thursday (16/3/2023).

JAKARTA, KOMPAS – A day after meeting with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo paid a working visit to Tabalong regency, South Kalimantan, on Friday (17/3/2023).

During his visit, Jokowi stated that the development of the Nusantara capital (IKN) in East Kalimantan does not simply mean physically relocating the country’s capital city. The IKN project is also aimed at building new ways of working and changing mindsets to boost Indonesia’s competitiveness with other countries.
