Followers Encouraged to be Orderly
Preparations for Nahdlatul Ulama’s centennial anniversary celebrations at Gelora Delta Sidoarjo Stadium began early on Tuesday morning. The Fikih (Islamic jurisprudence) Civilization Congress took place the day before.

SURABAYA, KOMPAS — Preparations to hold the peak event of the centennial anniversary of NU at the Gelora Delta Sidoarjo Stadium, East Java, Tuesday (7/2/2023), have been completed. The Nahdliyin (NU followers) and the general public who are coming to the location are asked to be orderly, disciplined and follow the committee's instructions. Residents can also watch the event through live streaming.
"Being in or outside the stadium is the same. There is no need to be inside. What is sought is the blessing," said secretary-general of the executive board of NU (PBNU) Saifullah Yusuf, better known as Gus Ipul, on Monday (6/2).
