The Bright Path of Star Seekers
The Bosscha Observatory in West Bandung, West Java, has inspired several astronomy communities. These communities have brought astronomy close to the hearts of the people, even if the stars they seek are in outer space.
A number of invitees took a group photo in front of the building called Kopel in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Bosscha Observatory, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency, West Java, Monday (1/30/2023).
Located about 200 kilometers from West Bandung is the Cirebon Astronomy Club (CAS), a community that actively attracts residents to view the moon and planets through homemade telescopes, some of which are made with used materials.
