Prosecution’s “Lopsided” Demands
The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has demanded criminal penalties against all defendants being tried in connection with the premeditated murder of Brig. Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat.
Despite the controversy over its lopsidedness, the prosecution’s demands are still respected. The public feels that the prosecution’s demands are unfair and hurt their sense of justice.
Prosecutors have demanded a life sentence for Ferdy Sambo and eight years in prison for Putri Candrawatahi, Kuat Ma’ruf and Ricky Rizal. Second Agent (Bharada) Richard Eliezer, who the public believes revealed the facts of the case and told the truth, has been demanded a sentence of 12 years in prison.
