E Widiantoro has written hundreds of short stories. He includes the mother tongue and reveals local issues. He wants his short stories to encourage dialogues amid the complexity of problems in West Kalimantan.

Hundreds of short stories by Widiantoro already published in a number of books were arranged on the table of his house in Kubu Raya regency, West Kalimantan, on Sunday (27/11/2022). In addition, he has also bundled up several other short stories.
The works have been the fruit of his perseverance in short story writing since 1991. At the time, he was a senior high school student and frequently read short stories at newspaper kiosks in Pontianak, West Kalimantan.
