Working Tirelessly to Overcome Waste Problem

Environmentalists are employing various methods to overcome the waste problem, from cleaning rivers to using technology.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS – Fighting for environmental sustainability does not always require taking big steps with a broad scope. Making real efforts to overcome waste in one’s immediate surroundings can also make significant contributions.

Eko Jatmiko and Dedi Kurniawan, two members of punk band United Smokers, are very concerned about managing waste. For the last two decades, they have been conveying their opposition to environmental destruction through their songs.
