Four Defendants Charged with Three Years in Prison
Four defendants in the case of abuse and death of captives in the house of inactive Langkat regent Terbit R Perangin-Angin were charged with three years in prison. The four defendants were charged in two separate files.
STABAT, KOMPAS β Four defendants in the case of abuse and death of captives in the house of inactive Langkat regent Terbit Rencana Perangin-Angin were charged with three years in prison. The prosecutor charged them with Article 351 of the Criminal Code (KUHP), not Article 170 of the Criminal Code that had been applied from the start.
The four defendants were charged in two separate files. Dewa Perangin-Angin, the son of Terbit Rencana Perangin-Angin, and Hendra Surbakti were charged with the persecution that resulted in the death of Sarianto Ginting, who was held in a cage. The cages were part of an illegal drug rehabilitation center in Terbit's private home.
