Indonesian Navy Deploys 12 Warships to Secure the G20 Summit

In addition to the National Police, the TNI has also prepared 3,600 personnel in Bali to secure the G20 Summit. A total of 252 electric vehicles have been sent by TNI Headquarters to Bali.

SURABAYA, KOMPAS β€” The Indonesian Navy has deployed 12 warships to secure the territorial waters around Bali, the location of the Group of 20 Summit. Their presence is also supported by 3,000 personnel, including special units.

"They include special forces Denjaka [Jalamengkara detachment and Kopaska – Frogman Command] who are on board the KRI," Navy Chief of Staff Adm. Yudo Margono said after the meeting on security readiness for the G20 Summit on Friday (4/11/2022) at the Madura Pier, 2nd Fleet Command, Surabaya, East Java.
