The trial proceedings are important. Will the trial be able to restore the image of the police, who are at stake, and also the image of the judiciary power, which is being plagued by many problems?

The trial of the premeditated murder case against Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat and the defendant Ferdy Sambo and his friends has been taking place for weeks.

The public's eyes are focused on the South Jakarta District Court. The witness testimonies, expert testimonies and evidence are tested in the open trial. Witnesses who are not honest in their statements, will appear hesitant in answering questions in court. The public also seem to act as the "jury" of the trial that has attracted their attention. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has even asked at least four times for the case to be unveiled openly in court.
