Ombudsman Alleges Maladministration
The Health Ministry and the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency have allegedly committed maladministration leading to the occurrence of cases of acute kidney injury.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS — The Indonesian Ombudsman has alleged that the Health Ministry and the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency or BPOM committed maladministration, with the result that hundreds of children are suffering from atypical progressive acute kidney injury. The Ombudsman plans to summon the two institutions. Both institutions are also given the opportunity to respond to the allegation of maladministration.
