Police Urged to Reveal New Suspects

Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister Mahfud MD, in Jakarta on Thursday (18/8/2022) asked the National Police to reveal more suspects in the murder case of Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat.
JAKARTA, KOMPAS - Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister Mahfud MD has urged the National Police to reveal more suspects in the murder case of Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat, also known as Brigadier J. Mahfud also reminded the police to group the perpetrators, considering that aside from the murder, the case is also overrun with obstructions of justice. Mahfud, who was met after attending the commemoration of the 2022 Constitution Day and the 77th anniversary of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) at the House of Representatives complex in Jakarta on Thursday (18/8/2022), said the police were thoroughly investigating Nofriansyah’s murder.
“Yes, [the police] are serious [in handling the case]. There must be more [perpetrators],” he said.
