The Communication and Information Ministry has kept its promise to block digital service providers (DSPs) that have not registered as regulated in Communication and Information Ministerial Regulation (Permenkominfo) No. 5/2020 on private DSPs.

It has blocked eight DSPs offering search engines, financial services, and online games starting at 00:00 (midnight) Western Indonesia Time (WIB) on 30 July 2022: Yahoo, PayPal, Epic Games, Steam, Dota, Counter Strike, Origin (EA), and Xandr.com.
