JAKARTA, KOMPAS β€” The National Police have said that a special investigation team has found surveillance camera footage that could be used as evidence in uncovering the events surrounding the death of Brig. J, or Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat, at the residence of the now inactive Internal Affairs chief, Insp. Gen. Ferdy Sambo. During a previous investigation by the South Jakarta Police, the police said that the existing surveillance camera was damaged and could not be used as evidence.

To further the investigation into the fatal shootout between two police officers, National Police chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo on Wednesday (20/7/2022) suspended two additional police officers, South Jakarta Police chief Sr. Comr. Budhi Herdi Susianto and Internal Security Bureau (Karo Paminal) head Brig. Gen. Hendra Kurniawan of the National Police Internal Affairs Division.
