Muhammad Heri Fadli Sharing Empathy Through Film
Thanks to his short film Jamal, M Heri Fadli, 26, has toured to take part in various international film festivals. Heri is also campaigning for the protection of Indonesian migrant workers who risk their lives overseas.

The audience packing one of the CGV studios of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara Barat, on Tuesday (5/7/2022) gave a round of applause as credit titles of the film Jamal appeared on the screen. The film, which depicts the death of a migrant worker from Lombok, fascinated the spectators. Several of them were even weeping.
On that day, Jamal premiered in Lombok. For the past two years, the film had been shown worldwide at international film festivals in Asia, Europe and the United States. After Lombok, Jamal was already scheduled for screenings in all Southeast Asian countries.
