Khilafatul Muslimin Rejects State Ideology
Jakarta Police chief, Insp. Gen. Fadil Imran, at a press conference in Jakarta declared the Khilafatul Muslimin movement a violation of the law because it refuses state ideology.
JAKARTA, KOMPAS β The Jakarta Police have released new information on the Khilafatul Muslimin. After arresting Abdul Qadir Hasan Baraja, the leader of the anti-Pancasila group, the police found a Khilafatul Muslimin-styled education system where its followers were categorized as citizens.
Jakarta Police chief, Insp. Gen. Fadil Imran, at a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday (16/6/2022), declared the Khilafatul Muslimin movement a violation of the law because it refuses state ideology. To stop the movement from expanding, Fadil ordered his staff to coordinate with other regional police officers who handle similar cases.
