Indonesia Brings Up Issue of Economic Recovery via Digital Technology

ZURICH, KOMPAS — Indonesia raised the issue of economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, which took place on 22-26 May 2022 in Davos, Switzerland. One potential recovery effort is to optimize the role of technology in the digital economy.
"We [the Indonesian delegation] will convey the role of the digital economy in which there are micro, small and medium enterprises [MSMEs]. They use digital technology to recover," said the director general of information and public communication at the Communication and Information Ministry (Kominfo), Usman Kasong, on Saturday night (21/5/2022) in Zurich.
