Vietnam Still an Enigma to Indonesia

VIET TRI, FRIDAY — Nearly 20,000 Vietnamese who packed the Viet Tri soccer stadium on Friday in Viet Tri, Phu Tho P]province, to watch the Group A opening soccer match of the 2021 SEA Games, went home with beaming faces after the national team beat Indonesia 3-0.
The Vietnamese supporters, most of who wore red T-shirts, chanted “Vietnam! Vietnam!" for 90 minutes. The rain that fell throughout the match did not dampen their enthusiasm.
