The government has warned people to remain alert about spreading Covid-19, estimating that at least 85.5 million people would be traveling to their home towns on mudik for celebrating Idul Fitri this year.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS β€” The number of mudik (exodus) travelers in light of the upcoming Idul Fitri holiday next month is expected to increase sharply following the change in government Covid-19 handling policies regarding travel and mobility.
