JAKARTA, KOMPAS โ€” Indonesia as the President of the Group of 20 (G20) wealthiest nations this year cannot fulfill the wishes of a number of parties to isolate one of the G20 members, Russia. In its position as President of the G20, Indonesia must be impartial and has decided to continue extending its invite to Russia and its delegation to the G20 forum.

This was emphasized by the Co-Sherpa of G20 Indonesia, Dian Triansyah Djani, to reporters in Jakarta, on Thursday (24/3/2022). "We, Indonesia, as the President of the G20 will act impartially and try to find solutions to all problems. This is, and always has been, what is done during Indonesiaโ€™s chairmanship in forums and institutions," said Dian.
