No Open Response Yet from Public Figures

If elections were held today, Prabowo would be chosen by 26.5 percent of respondents, Ganjar Pranowo would be chosen by 20.5 percent, and Anies Baswedan would be chosen by 14.2 percent of respondents.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS — A number of public figures have not openly responded to the results of an electability survey conducted by Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas). Nevertheless, communication has begun.

Litbang Kompas held a survey on 17-30 Jan. 2022 to gauge the public preference for potential presidential candidates of the 2024 general elections. The public poll was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents, randomly selected by the stratified systematic sampling method in the country’s 34 provinces, and produced the names of the three top figures with the highest electability.
