Public space must be open to various discourses, criticisms and views while prioritizing common sense, valid data and moral motives, in order that criticism does not turn into social conquest based on hate.

Former Indonesian Military (TNI) commander Gatot Nurmantyo (GN) never tires of “singing” about the rise of communism in contemporary Indonesia. As regards the diorama statue that has been removed from the Darma Bhakti Kostrad Museum, GN accused “henchmen” of the [defunct] Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) of infiltrating the military. "There has been infiltration within the TNI," he said.
