Big Push Strategy Needed to Boost Exports

Indonesia needs a “big push strategy” in order to ensure trade, especially exports, are able to support its post-pandemic economic recovery.

Kompas Daily reported on Friday (22/10/2021) that the government had promised to work extra hard to promote the country’s competitiveness. Trade Minister Muhammad Lutfi said a number of efforts would be made to improve competitiveness such as through the diversification of the market and products and by becoming a part of the global supply chains. Trade, investment and industry policies will be aligned in order to achieve such goals.
