Postpaid electricity meter with customer name Akidy at a shophouse on Jalan Veteran, Palembang City, South Sumatra, Monday (9/8/2021).

As the news was circulating that the late Akidy\'s daughter intended to donate Rp 2 trillion to South Sumatra to help it handle the Covid-19 pandemic, the public began to show their curiosity about who the businessman really was.

In order to uncover the mystery-veiled Akidy\'s life, a fact-finding search was set out to first locate his house in Palembang where he was reported to have resided upon his arrival from Langsa, Aceh, in 1976. The only clue was information that Akidy lived on Jl. Veteran.
