The employment sector is not fair yet toward people with disabilities. In fact, they also have the right to live independently and pursue self-development. M. Rubby Emir Fahriza, 41, and Tety Sianipar, 33, have been striving to ensure the fulfillment of the basic rights of the disabled.

The stigma that disabled people are helpless has continued to distract society, resulting in discriminatory treatment in their diverse fields of life. The welfare of the disabled has only received ample attention over the last several years, including when Indonesia hosted the Asian Para Games in 2018.
