All citizens have equal rights, including people with disabilities. Therefore, no discrimination should be allowed. This principle has prompted Hikmah Miliana, 42, to strive for the disabled in South Sumatra to have the same rights to welfare that other people have.
Hikmah was carefully examining data on 12 disabled people who obtained wheelchairs donated by port management company PT Pelindo II in the auditorium of the Budi Perkasa Social and Skill Promotion Institution Palembang on Tuesday (23/3/2021). She neatly piled up photocopies of citizen’s identity cards (KTP) and family cards (KK) she received from the beneficiaries.
