Profession and Security Division Supervises Investigation
The National Police formed a team to supervise the investigation of cases of clashes between the police and members of the Islam Defenders Front. The Komnas HAM also created a team to monitor and investigate the case.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS — The National Police\'s internal affairs (Propam) has formed a special team to oversee the investigation of an incident in which six FPI members died during clashes with the police. This is part of an effort to create transparency and professional law enforcement. Meanwhile, a number of civil society movements asked President Joko Widodo to form an independent team to investigate the case.
The supervision and the formation of the special team by the Profession and Security Division was disclosed by the head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Insp. Gen. Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, Tuesday (8/12/2020).
