Gravediggers prepare grave sites to be used for burial under Covid-19 protocols at Pondok Ranggon Cemetery, in East Jakarta, Friday night (18/9/2020). On Friday, as many as 36 bodies were buried while on Thursday, considered as a peak of the pandemic, 41 bodies were buried in the cemetery. The total number of Covid-19 cases that died in Indonesia was 9,336 people as of 18 Sept. 2020 at 4:43 p.m. and there were 3,891 additional Covid-19 cases.

General Elections Commission (KPU) chairman Arief Budiman has been added to the list of state administrators exposed to COVID-19. Health protocols must be tightened as greater dangers will arise if more public officials contract the virus.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS β€” The number of state administrators who have contracted COVID-19 continues to increase just as the number of new COVID-19 cases continue to climb. The SARS-CoV-2 virus has now spread into government offices.
