After the amendments to the 1945 Constitution, the Indonesian rule of law is no longer in the search phase. The joint commitment to promote it will benefit all the people who live in the large house called Indonesia.

Ahead of the 58th anniversary of Indonesiaโ€™s independence, the late Satjipto Rahardjo began his article with the statement, "On August 17, 1945, the state of Indonesia was born as a new country [...] With the exception of the announcement of the form of a state, Indonesia also declared itself as a state based on [the rule of ] law.โ€(Kompas, 11/8/2003).
