Focus on Family

The government has implemented large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in order to limit the activities of citizens by encouraging them to learn and work from home. The house is the symbol of the family.

Head of Yogyakarta Special Region Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) Ukik Kusuma Kurniawan presented the award certificate to DIY Governor Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, Monday (29/6/2020), after the commemoration of National Family Day, at the Governor\'s DIY office , City of Yogyakarta.

Family units are the smallest social units in the community. Theoretically, without family, there would be no nation. In Indonesia, National Family Day is celebrated on 29 June.

A family consists of individuals who bind to one another. Social units in the community are formed through interaction, mutual trust and complementarity. If one of the chains of the social unit is broken, it could affect the entire social group.
