Tarling singer (guitar-flute) Diana Sastra, entertains her fans via Youtube from a music studio in Megu Gede Village, Plered District, Cirebon Regency, West Java, Wednesday (6/5/2020). Although no longer performing on stage since March 24, the pantura star still greets her fans virtually.

After more than two decades of being engaged in the guitar-and-flute art known as tarling, this year is the most difficult time for singer Diana Sastra, 42. But she won’t give up just yet. This Ratu Tarling (tarling queen) of the northern waterfront (pantura) is sticking with her community and fellow artists amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

From a music studio near a teak plantation in Megu Gede village, Plered district, Cirebon regency, West Java, on Saturday (30/5/2020), Diana greeted her fans in several regions and abroad. She was singing to a drum and keyboard accompaniment via YouTube live-streaming.
