JAKARTA, KOMPAS β€” The managements of museums in Indonesia need to change their approach with visitors to be more lively and interactive. Museums are no longer a cultural institution. Their governance must be able to adapt to the two-way communication approach.

"Not only changes to the display system but also to the museum programs themselves, how to present and package the information content to visitors," said University of Indonesia architecture lecturer Nevine Rafa Kusuma on Monday (18/05/18/2020), in Jakarta, when asked to share her thoughts during the commemoration of International Museum Day, which falls every 18 May.
