A journalist watches a teleconference with Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi after his meeting on COVID-19 handling with President Joko Widodo on Monday (27/4/2020). It was the first meeting Minister Budi attended after recovering from Covid-19. He still has to self-isolate until May 5, 2020.

There was something different in the limited Cabinet meeting to evaluate the implementation of large-scale social restrictions(PSBB) held via teleconference on Monday morning (27/4/2020). Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi attended the meeting after more than six weeks of being off government duties owing to his treatment for COVID-19.

Moreover, Budi Karya also gave a virtual press statement following the limited meeting, along with Social Affairs Minister Juliari P. Batubara and Chairman of the COVID-19 Rapid Response Task Force Doni Monardo. He explained the arrangements for the ban on mudik (exodus) as stipulated in the Transportation Ministerial Regulation (Permenhub) No. 18/2020 on Transportation Control within the Framework of Preventing the Transmission of COVID-19 and Permenhub No 23/2020 on Transportation Control during the Period of Idul Fitri 1441 H Exodus.
